Education and promotion of public awareness of child safety is achieved through the use of various educational programmes using videos, pamphlets, posters, slides, exhibitions, workshops and talks, the media and more. The training of trainers on child safety is mostly used by Childsafe as it is felt that trainers have an important role to play in accident prevention in various communities.

 

The adult target group reached include the nursing and medical profession, workers in industry, social and community workers, pre-and primary school teachers, medical students in different health fields, and a wide variety of groups of the general public such as parents, home help workers, caregivers, grandparents.
